The publisher is registered in Turkey and is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller. cliniccheck writes for a UK audience and references UK regulators and NHS guidance, but it is not a UK-registered company and it is not a healthcare provider.
2. How the site is funded
cliniccheck is funded by its parent company and, since 2026, by a single paid advertising placement. It charges readers nothing, and it generates no revenue from the clinics it writes about.
3. Advertising on this site
cliniccheck carries one advertising placement, in the footer of every page and as a dismissible bar on mobile. It advertises dental treatment in antalya, türkiye and it is paid for by Antalya Dental Clinics, who is not otherwise connected to this site.
- It is labelled. Every instance carries the word “Sponsored”, names the advertiser, and links back to this page. The label sits above the offer, not underneath it.
- It is separate from editorial. The advertiser does not write, review, see in advance or approve anything on this site. They have no say in which clinics are listed, how they are described, or what our checklists tell you to do.
- It is not a recommendation. Carrying an advertisement is not an endorsement, and the advertiser has not been assessed against the standards in our methodology. Apply the same checklist to them as to anyone else.
- It pays a flat fee. We are paid to display it, not per click, per enquiry or per booking. Nothing we earn depends on whether you contact them or what you spend.
4. What is still not for sale
- No paid listings. A clinic cannot pay to appear, to rank higher, or to have criticism removed. The advertiser cannot either.
- No commission or referral fees. We take no bookings and receive nothing if you contact a clinic.
- No affiliate links. Outbound links to clinics, regulators and insurers are editorial. The only paid link on the site is the labelled advertisement described above.
- No sponsored content or advertorial. No article, checklist, guide or clinic page is written, funded or reviewed by an advertiser or a clinic. Advertising is a box in the footer; it is never the words on the page.
- No paid corrections. Nobody can pay to change or remove something that is accurate.
5. Why it is set up this way
Medical tourism is an industry where most of the freely available information is produced by people who are paid when you book. That funding model shapes what gets said — risks get softened, exclusions go unmentioned, and every clinic is excellent.
The line we draw is between advertising and editorial. An advertiser can buy a labelled box in the footer that you can see is an advertisement and can dismiss. Nobody can buy a sentence, a listing, a ranking or a softened warning. That distinction is the whole arrangement: it is what still lets our checklists tell you to walk away from a clinic, which is sometimes the correct advice.
6. If this changes
If cliniccheck takes on further advertisers, affiliate arrangements or any other commercial relationship with the organisations it covers, this page will be updated before it takes effect, and the arrangement will be disclosed on every page it touches — as it was for the placement above. We would rather lose the revenue than disclose it quietly.
