The publisher is registered in Turkey and is registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller. cliniccheck writes for a UK audience and references UK regulators and NHS guidance, but it is not a UK-registered company and it is not a healthcare provider.

2. How the site is funded

cliniccheck is currently funded by its parent company. It carries no advertising and generates no revenue from readers or from the clinics it writes about.

3. What we do not take

  • No paid listings. A clinic cannot pay to appear, to rank higher, or to have criticism removed.
  • No commission or referral fees. We take no bookings and receive nothing if you contact a clinic.
  • No affiliate links. Outbound links to clinics, regulators and insurers are editorial.
  • No sponsored content. Nothing on the site is written or reviewed by a clinic.

4. Why it is set up this way

Medical tourism is an industry where most of the freely available information is produced by people who are paid when you book. That funding model shapes what gets said — risks get softened, exclusions go unmentioned, and every clinic is excellent. Refusing that money is the only way our checklists can tell you to walk away from a clinic, which is sometimes the correct advice.

5. If this changes

If cliniccheck ever introduces advertising, affiliate arrangements or any other commercial relationship with the organisations it covers, this page will be updated before it takes effect, and the arrangement will be disclosed on every page it touches. We would rather lose the revenue than disclose it quietly.
