Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Throughout this policy "we", "us" and "our" refer to Multiligo Ltd. as the operator of cliniccheck.co.uk.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use cliniccheck.co.uk, why we collect it, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. It does not cover any third-party sites we link to (you should read their own privacy notices).

3. The personal data we collect

a) Contact form submissions

When you use the contact form on /contact we collect: name, email address and the content of your message. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract) for listing-correction requests, and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest) for general feedback.

b) Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly-necessary cookies to make the site work and, with your opt-in consent, a single privacy-friendly analytics cookie. See our cookie policy for the full list, retention periods and your control options.

c) Server-side logs

Our hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, URL) for security and abuse detection. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in operating a secure service. Logs are kept for up to 30 days unless required for an investigation.

4. What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect health or medical data. cliniccheck is an information service; we are not a clinic.
• We do not run advertising trackers, social pixels or cross-site identifiers.
• We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
• We do not build behavioural profiles for marketing.

5. How long we keep your data

• Contact form submissions: 24 months, then deleted, unless an ongoing matter requires longer retention.
• Cookie preferences: stored in your browser only (we never see them).
• Server logs: 30 days.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing. We use the following processors who act under written contract on our behalf:

• Hosting: Vercel Inc. (USA) — serves the static site. Data transferred under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and UK Extension.
• Email: standard SMTP provider (we will name the current provider on request).

We may also disclose data when required by UK law (court order, regulator request) or to protect the vital interests of a person.

7. International transfers

Our hosting provider stores data in the United States and European Union. Transfers outside the UK are covered by either the EU–US Data Privacy Framework with its UK Extension, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where appropriate.

8. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you (Subject Access Request);
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten");
• restrict or object to processing;
• data portability where applicable;
• withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (e.g. analytics cookies);
• not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing (we do not perform any).

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):

10. Children

cliniccheck.co.uk is intended for adults considering treatment abroad. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We review and update this policy annually, or sooner where material change requires it. The effective date at the top of this page is updated on every revision.
